What we need
Microlink PC (UK) Ltd, Microlink House, Brickfield Lane, Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire SO53 4DP (Phone +442380240300), will be what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us.
We collect personal data about you which may include special category of data such as information relating to your physical or mental health. We may also process location based information about you. We also hold and process data supplied to us by your employer as necessary to allow us to ascertain and recommend suitable reasonable adjustments regarding your case. We may also process information relating you as maybe shared by third parties, for example any third party assessors we may utilise during your case.
Why we need it
We have entered into a contract with your employer to support their workplace adjustment processes. This includes carrying out a specialist assessment with you to help understand which reasonable adjustments you may require and make recommendations based on our findings. To create a case for you and provide our services, we need to collect and process your personal data but will not collect any personal data from you we do not need in order to provide and oversee this service.
What we do with it
We may share your personal data with third parties, including third-party service providers where necessary to provide our services, for example including Assessors/Assessment centres, trainers / training centres and distributors or when required by law.
We require third parties to respect the security and confidentiality of your data and to treat it in accordance with UK Data Protection Law. We will not transfer your personal data outside the UK, nor will our third party service providers or suppliers. No 3rd countries or countries outside the UK will have access to process or store your personal data.
In order to implement the recommended workplace adjustments; we shall share your personal data (including special category data) with:

We have a Data Protection regime in place to comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 (and the Data Protection Law of any other relevant jurisdiction) to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data. How long we keep it
We will only keep your personal data for as long as it is necessary for us to do so for us to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal requirements. After that time it will be destroyed, unless we are required to keep it for longer due to legal obligations. More information on our retention schedule can be obtained by contacting our Data Protection Officer at dpo@microlinkpc.com. Once no longer required, your personal data will be destroyed securely.
What are your rights
We want to make sure you are aware of your rights in relation to the personal data we process about you. If at any point you believe the information we control or process about you is incorrect, you can request it to be corrected. You can also request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. In certain circumstances you also have the right to ask for your personal data to be deleted. If you wish to exercise any of these rights or if you wish to raise a complaint about how we have handled your personal data, you can contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@microlinkpc.com.
